TATUM
Freshman year was supposed to be simple. New campus, new friends, and a chance to figure out who I was away from everything I'd always known. Then I met Callum.
Before I knew him as Professor Mercer, he was just the man at the observatory—the one who made looking at the stars feel different and stayed on my mind long after I walked away. Then I walked into class and found him standing at the front of the room. That should have ended whatever was happening between us. It didn't.
Callum Rhodes Mercer is brilliant, controlled, infuriatingly confident, and hiding far more than I ever expected. The closer I get to him, the more I realize I know almost nothing about the man behind C. Rhodes. We both know where the line is. We also know exactly how badly we want to cross it.
CALLUM
Tatum Hunter was never supposed to become complicated. She was the girl I met beneath the stars before I knew she'd be sitting in my classroom. By the time I realized who she was, wanting her had already become a problem.
So I gave us rules. Rules I fully intended to follow. There was one line I wouldn't cross while she was my student, and Tatum agreed. What neither of us considered was how dangerous everything before that line could become.
She doesn't care about the name, the money, or the life I've spent years building. She looks at me like I'm simply Callum, and somewhere between trying to keep my distance and finding every excuse not to, the end of the semester stopped feeling like the solution. Because once she's no longer my student, there won't be a rule left to protect either of us from what happens next.
CALLUM is Book One in The Mercer Brothers series, an interconnected standalone contemporary romance featuring forbidden professor/student attraction, an age gap, billionaire romance, secrets, and open-door spice. Intended for mature readers 18+.
